Job Description


Yalelo is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Compliance Auditor to join the Commercial Services Department. The responsibilities of the compliance auditor include protecting the company’s assets, enforcing compliance with internal regulations, recommending improvements to our internal control structure, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

To be successful as a compliance auditor, you should have excellent attention to detail,  be analytical, and have multitasking skills. Ultimately, a top-notch compliance auditor should be completely objective and possess an in-depth working knowledge of the business’s operations.

Compliance Auditor Responsibilities:

  • Conducting security parades (Inspect uniform compliance, alcohol screening & guard fitness for duty)
  • Weekly team operation briefings
  • Daily guard supervision and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance checks
  • Manage Control Room and shift activity, Access control, goods movement & site stock loss prevention from the Distribution Centre, In- Transit warehousing, Offsite freezing zones and Dispatch.
  • Developing schedules for security teams (Shift planning & Management)
  • Ensuring timely reporting of guards
  • Supervising and ensure all guards are controlling the entry, exit and movement of any vehicle on the company premises
  • Ensuring all registers are updated and equipment is accounted for
  • Supervising and ensuring all guards are monitoring the flow of people and employees, controlling all access points and ensuring all visitors are registered and assisted
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
  • SOP development, review & implementation
  • Conducting investigation of all security incidents and submitting reports
  • Conducting Security Vulnerability assessments

Requirements:

  • 1+ years’ work experience industrial Security Management
  • Certificate or higher in Security Management
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office is a must
  • Experience in security forces or private security is advantageous
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Clean Driver’s License
  • Ability to work a schedule outside business hours and/or flexible shifts
