The opening of the Hotel on 25th May 2014 was certainly a pinnacle in the business and is proof of Sherbourne Farms Ltd being a pioneer in accommodation in Kitwe. Sherbourne is a house hold name when it comes to quality accommodation in Kitwe, Zambia. We have been in business for over 27 years. We currently have 4 establishments operating under the umbrella name Sherbourne Farms Limited trading as Sherbourne Hotels, all situated in Kitwe.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Electrician/Plumber/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, including wiring, switchboard installations, and troubleshooting.
- Providing in-house maintenance of all electrical appliances
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Handle general maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Trade Certificate/Diploma or better in Electrical and Plumbing from a Teveta accredited Institution
- Proven experience in the field.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of (2) two years proven electrical work experience
