Job Description


As a Conveyancer & Administrative Officer you are expected to be a specialist in property law, acting on behalf of our clients who purchase properties from Prime Location Properties Limited. You will Focus on the legal aspect of transferring property from Prime Location Properties Limited to rightful purchasers.
• Your responsibilities will revolve around aiding clients with property transactions, answering questions regarding the financial and legal concerns that invariably surround the purchase of property, and dealing with a range of crucial documents. From contracts and leases to transfers and consents, Conveyancing requires acute drafting, negotiating, and reviewing skills. You will also perform other Administrative functions as required.

Responsibilities
•Explaining complex technical documentation in clear and simple terms.
•Gathering property information through liaising with the lawfirm and local authorities.
•Facilitating for contracts, leases, and transfer documents, ensuring they are signed by all relevant parties and exchanged on schedule.
•Liaise with lawfirm and respond to enquiries, etc.
•Issues instructions to lawfirm regarding title Processing on behalf of clients.
•Oversees and supervises the whole conveyancing process and routinely updates all clients on progress madam.
•Liaises with all departments relevant to completing checklist of all approvals required.
•Liaises with beneficiaries to ensure all requirements are met and kept, documents to be signed,
etc.
•Monitors all requirements of eligibility for Statutory Lease and Deed of Lease stages.
•Attends to related matters of Lessees for assignments and surrenders, etc.
•Maintains databases of all client per project with updated information of progress made towards issuance of title to them.
Perform other administration functions as assigned by the supervisor

Skills and Knowledge
– Strong organizational skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Systems including Word and Typing.
– Full understanding of the conveyancing, title search and regularization process.
– Ability to generate precise, accurate and clear reports.
– Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a fast paced intense and challenging environment

Qualifications
•Grade 12 School Certificate with at least Credit in English and Mathematics.
•LLB from a recognized university.
•Demonstrated competency in research, critical analysis, drafting, and alternative dispute resolution.
•Sound understanding of contract law, conveyance, and Land Law.
•Advanced computer skills including in MS Office suite and customer management software.
•Company secretarial and administrative experience an added advantage
•Valid drivers’ license
