Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to support in the daily operations of our mining site.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in planning and overseeing mining operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
– Monitor and evaluate mine production performance and implement improvements.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of mine workers.
– Support the Mine Manager in developing budgets and managing costs.
– Prepare reports on mining activities and performance metrics.
– Liaise with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
– Participate in the development and training of staff.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Administration or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining industry.
– Strong knowledge of mining operations, equipment, and safety standards.
– Proven leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in mining software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to work in a remote location and under challenging conditions.
