Job Description


We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Accounts Manager Duties

1. Monthly Revenue (from All Mobicom Projects/Contracts)

Driving revenue for the company from sales assigned by the client as per your allocated area and business function

2. Client/ Contract Management /Escalation Management

Ensure that daily meetings, weekly and monthly meetings and communications with clients are managed on behalf of Mobicom Management and Ensuring that all customer KPI and demands are met.

3. Recruitment & Team Management

Always make sure respective teams are working – if not understand why and apply corrective measures within 48hrs as part of team management. Recruitment, Training on Job Description, Training on Output KPIs and setting Targets with Team Members.

4. Performance Reporting

Ensure to share reports daily, Weekly and monthly on key Output KPI – using the correct template approved by management. To CEO/Directors and Board

5. Mobipay App Rollout.  Responsible for rolling out our agent app to retailers and agents.

6. Meetings (with Acc Management, Clients, Operation Team).

Attending Daily, Weekly or Monthly Meetings – if unavailable inform your line manager and arrange for someone to sit in for you

7. Training a successor to act when on leave.

Training of one of your team to sit in for as acting Head Operations/Regional Manager – within 1 month of appointment into your role

8. Company Profitability /Cost Reduction /EBIT Management.

Reduce wasteful spending of money for things that don’t need to be spent.

9. Distribution (and Recon).  Head operations/Regional Manager is to direct and guide all Account Manager on their responsibility for Total Distribution & sales Target set in client contract.

10. Master Agency – Float/Cash Rebalancing.

monitoring and tracking all transactions of riders (so at end of day doing a report on total transactions can be shared with the business)

11. Zoning & Operations.

Ensure the team assigned in Zones are all working from 08:00 – 17:00 as per assignment. Targets are to be met in respective Zones. 12. Dealer Codes & Agent Line Facilitation.

Ensure Tools of trade need are assigned to our teams within 48 hrs of team members assuming their work- TDRs

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of market trends.
  • Proficiency in communication in English.
  • A high level of market intelligence
  • Keen interest in business development
  • Strong client relationship management
  • Understanding of store operations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Degree in Marketing or in Business/sales Management
  2. 5 years sales, telecommunication or FMCG experience
  3. 3 years Management Experience
  4. Mobile Money Experience
  5. MS Excel and Presentation Experience
  6. People and Performance Management experience
