Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technologist, who will support the pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. Your role involves preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication Dispensing: Assist in preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Customer Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to customers, addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing and organizing pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and checking for expired medications.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed, patient profiles, and pharmacy transactions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
Technology Utilization: Operate and maintain pharmacy technology and equipment effectively.
Qualifications:
Education: Relevant Certificate or diploma
Certification: Certification with relevant body
Experience: Previous experience in retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
