Job Description
Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee financial strategies and operations.
Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance.
Manage budgeting processes, including tracking expenditures and ensuring budget adherence.
Analyze market trends to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
Conduct audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
Manage and mentor junior financial staff, providing guidance and training.
Collaborate with management to develop long-term financial goals and strategies.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
Coordinate with other departments to align financial management with broader business strategies.
Implement and maintain financial software and systems to streamline processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
Solid understanding of financial analysis and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing and analyzing financial data.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across departments.
