Kiran & Musonda Associates is a fully Zambian firm of consulting engineers operating in the field of institutional and infrastructure engineering.  In order to further improve its delivery of services, the firm intends to hire the following:

Assistant Civil Engineer (01)

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the assistant engineer will be responsible for carrying out civil and structural designs and preparation of construction drawings. He/she will also be responsible for carrying out site supervision of construction projects and monitoring of materials testing to ensure adherence to design and specifications.

Qualifications/skills

• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with Five (5) Credits or better;
• Degree in Civil Engineering;
• Registered with EIZ;
• Should be below the age of 30 years
• Relevant  experience in carrying out structural design and drafting will be an added advantage;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages (Word and Excel) is a must;
• Effective written, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required;
• Flexibility to travel out of town even at short notice.
