Internship Opportunity: Assistant Counselor and Administrative Intern , Solwezi based only.

Join our dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional administrative support and fostering online learning opportunities. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join us as an Assistant Counselor and Administrative Intern. This internship offers valuable experience in administrative functions and course coordination in the online education sector.

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:
Assist in providing psychosocial counseling to clients, including but not limited to, individual counseling sessions, group therapy, and crisis intervention.
Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing documents.
Assist in coordinating Online course offerings, including liaising with instructors, managing course materials, and monitoring course enrollment.
Communicate with course instructors and students to ensure a smooth learning experience, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
Develop course outlines, lectures, quizzes, and other educational materials to facilitate learning online learning for students.
Respond to student inquiries and provide timely feedback and support to course participants.
Assist in creating and updating course listings on the Online platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness of course information.
Monitor course performance metrics and provide regular reports to the team, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with the team to promote courses through various channels, including social media.
Assist in conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities for new course offerings.
Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:
A Diploma or degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
Strong understanding of psychosocial counseling principles and techniques.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with online learning platforms is preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Enthusiasm for learning, self motivated and a proactive attitude.
Proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
