Security Supervisor (01)

JOB OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring company property is safeguarded at all times .

REPORTING TO

HRM/GM

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Implementing security policies

Organizing labor for Inspecting and patrolling premises

Preparing weekly schedules for security guards

Investigate suspicious activity and incidents

Collaborate with police officers for issues handed over to the police

To advise the management on better ways of reducing theft and improving the work outcomes for security guards.

Perform routine security assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities, crafting strategies for risk reduction

Educate and train security personnel on protocols and emergency response plans

Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations

Collaborate across departments to integrate security measures into all operational facets, including events, facility management, and employee safety

Hiring Security guards

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Full Grade 12 Certificate

Must have 2 years minimum experience as Security Supervisor

Critical analysis of incidences for ivestoigations

The abilty to lead a team of over 25 secuirtity guards

Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.

Ability to work effectively within a team.

Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and integrity.

Previous affiliations to reputable security companies will be an added advantage
