Responsibilities:

• Develop and direct organizational strategy
• Build relationships with stakeholders
• Formulate policies and oversee operations
• Manage accounting procedures and budgets
• Train a high-performing managerial team
• Daily tasks include drafting business profiles, curriculum development, applying for funding opportunities, leading board recruitment, research, and ensuring legal compliance.

Qualifications:

• Background in communications, journalism, or gende
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with safeguarding practices and working with children
• Good relationship with local and regional networks on feminism and gender
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Professionalism, integrity, and good work ethic
• Experience working online, access to a working computer and internet
• Familiarity with online working tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Canva
• Strong and evidence-based passion for gender, feminism, and safety

Work Terms and Conditions:

·         Work virtually, 30 hours per week (5 hours per day, 5 days a week)

·         6-month contract

·         2 months’ probation at 3,000 ZMW p/m.
