Job Description
Our Client in the building and construction industry is seeking to hire a Commercial officer
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development / Sourcing: Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive revenue growth. Responsible for research on products and services including pricing and quality in order to respond to quotations from clients.
Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to promote products/services, achieve sales targets, and enhance brand visibility.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring outstanding service delivery.
Administration: Oversee administrative tasks related to commercial operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development and sales is an added advantage.
Experience 1-3 years with traceable references.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in CRM software and MS Office suite (Excel, Access and Outlook).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Tender preparation.
Familiarity material sourcing and supply.
Preferred Location: Kitwe
