JOB ADVERT – WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Aller Aqua Zambia Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Warehouse Supervisor. The role reports to the Production Manager and will be based in Siavonga.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Warehouse will be responsible for efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations. He/she will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless flow of inventory, maintaining high-quality warehouse standards and fostering a safe working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing the organization, storage, and retrieval of inventory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to FIFO principles.
• Leading and managing warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing products, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Ensuring adherence to safety procedures within the warehouse to promote a secure and healthy working environment.
• Coordinating with production and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment, accuracy in product picking, and on-time deliveries.
• Maintaining and ensuring accurate records of inventory levels, warehouse transactions and documentation compliance.
• Generating regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse performance for management review.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Full Grade Twelve School Certificate (GCE).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred with at least (3) years work experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse operations.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
