Accounting Manager

Job Description: As the Accounting Manager you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.

2.       Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity.

3.       Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals.
Monitor and report on budget variances, providing recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.

4.       Compliance and Taxation:

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for timely and accurate audits and tax filings.

5.       Cash Management:

Manage cash flow, oversee banking relationships, and make recommendations to optimize working capital.

6.       Systems and Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
Proven experience in accounting and finance management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
