-Take profit responsibility for developing this start-up into a viable financial enterprise.

-Required Experience in Years (Min /Max): Relevant experience in a similar role will be no less than 3 years.

-Salary Budget (Min-Max Range): $1,500-2500 basic with a generous bonus based on performance to encourage an alignment of interests.

-Job timing / working hours: As a start-up, it is envisaged that the work hours will be determined by the candidates ability to balance sales with production since his bonus will be determined by the success of the business which will be under his control.

-Job location Complete: Copperbelt, Zambia.

-Contract: Two years with option to renew. Contract would include recruitment and repatriation airfares, a salary. Employee would be responsible for their own accommodation and food. This will be reflected in the negotiated salary/and or accommodation allowance. All earnings are subject to Zambian income tax charges.

-Qualifications : Relevant educational and/or technical qualifications are a requirement by our Government to obtain an Employment Permit ( For expatriates)

-Communication Skills: Successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English with customers, workers, and colleagues whose home language may not be English.

-Key Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude & Behavior) – KNOWLEDGE: Complete detailed knowledge of all the workings of a basic milk processing / packaging plant is essential:
1.0 Fresh milk -from raw milk collection, filtration, pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging in 500 ml sachets at a rate of up to 2000 sachets per hour. Then storage in a cold room in readiness for sale to the public.
2.0 Fermented milk products: Must be able to use the plants capability of producing fermented milk product from raw milk.
3.0 Supporting Equipment: IMPORTANTLY, The successful candidate must have sufficient
knowledge on how to use (and be able to contribute usefully) to the running of the installed processing plant which is supported by a *Dedicated borehole, *Water purification equipment, *Diesel boiler, *Milk chiller, *Refrigeration equipment for the bulk milk tanks, *Diesel backup generator, * Personnel support facilities such a shower, toilets, kitchen, storerooms, etc. All of which will fall under the control of the successful candidate. * At the heart of the matter is that the candidate has knowledge of what product
standards are required, and has the ability to achieve these.
4.0 Required Skills: Must know the capability of the installed equipment and be able to set work standards for his subordinates, and make useful practical contribution to effecting minor running repairs and adjustments to the plant to maintain quality and production, thus guide and educate juniors in his team thereby earning the respect and support of his team, without which success cannot be achieved.
Sales of processed milk products will be part of the responsibility.

co-operative, positive, can-do attitude that will set the tone for his team. BEHAVIOUR: Must conduct himself in a morally correct, and ethical manner at all times.

-Employee Profile: Age will not be a disqualifying factor (all things considered) but the probable age will be between 28-50 years of age.
