Job Description
The Assistant Supervisor – Harvest will be responsible for overseeing various harvesting operations to ensure company harvesting target and goals are met.
The right fit candidate will:
- Supervise employees harvesting fish from the lake and ensure SOP’s are adhered to at all times.
- Train employees to ensure safe operating procedures are followed when harvesting Fish
- Prepare work schedule for harvesters
- Operate harvest equipment
- Maintain safety and environmental self-audits & visual checks
- Champions all safety or ergonomic activities for the harvesting team and helps to develop and implement Yalelo Ltd safety goals
- Adhere to product specification requirements throughout harvest to maintain desired product quality results
The Essentials:
- Full grade 12 certificate
- Diploma or better in Fisheries Science, Fisheries Management or related qualification
- Minimum 2 years related harvesting operations experience.
