Electrician (01)

JOB PURPOSE:

To carry out Electrical Preventive repairs jobs on all Farm equipment and others.

REPORTING TO

Senior Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out Preventive maintenance jobs according to the Farm check lists, instructions and applicable work procedures.
• Identify and diagnose broken down operating equipment and draw lists of requirements.
• Identify and diagnose equipment with planned repairs and draw lists of requirements.
• Carry out repairs according to standard work procedures applicable.
• Carry out planned repairs according to standard work procedures applicable and schedule.
• Carry out all none break down jobs within working hours and scheduled over times.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum experience 3 years
• Qualified electrician
• Sound knowledge of Farm procedures;
• Excellent diagnostic skills;
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and integrity.
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia
